We are delighted to announce that we now offer a CITB scaffolding apprenticeship Level 2 scheme for those who are sponsored by a CITB registered employer.
Duration: The scaffolding training apprenticeship is a part-time 11 week programme (10-day blocks over 18-24 months) held at our CISRS and CITB accredited centres in Nottingham and Humberside.
Scope of Funding: National (including Wales)
CITB Registered Company Funding: upto £6000.00 available per learner on completion of their apprenticeship, travel and accommodation may also be provided dependant on the learners location from our centres.
Qualifications: The Scaffolder Apprenticeship course includes the training route to qualify as a CISRS Scaffolder (Tube and Fitting or System) and to obtain a CISRS Scaffolders Card.
The scaffolding apprenticeship scheme is structured to allow the learners more time to complete practical and theory training and assessments, to achieve the following list of qualifications:
- CISRS Trainee (Part 1)
- CISRS Scaffolder (Part 2)
- CISRS Skill Test (Level 2)
- Construction Diploma (Level 2)
- NVQ Access and Rigging Operations – Scaffolding (Level 2)
- Functional Skills (Level 1)
- Employers Rights & Responsibilities
- Personal Learning and Thinking Skills
Enrolment: To be eligible for this apprenticeship programme, learners must be sponsored by an employer.
The course is aimed at people aged 16-23, but consideration will be made forlearners of all ages.
