Safety & Access have secured government funding through the Hull & East Riding Skills Bootcamp programme in partnership with Hull City Council, giving eligible learners the opportunity to train for up to 70% off the standard price of a CISRS Part 1, Part 2, or Advanced Scaffolder course.
If you live, or your employer is based in one of the qualifying postcode areas across Hull, East Yorkshire, Goole, Selby, Driffield, Beverley, Market Weighton, and surrounding regions, you could be eligible for this incredible funding opportunity.

What Are Skills Bootcamps?
Skills Bootcamps are part of the UK Government’s Skills for Life initiative, designed to help people gain in-demand skills and fast-track into employment or career progression opportunities.
These flexible, short-term training programmes (typically up to 16 weeks) are fully or partially funded by the Department for Education (DfE), supporting individuals who want to develop technical skills aligned with local and national job demand.

Who Can Apply?
Funding is available for individual learners living or working for a business based within the following postcode areas:
HU1–HU20 – Hull, Beverley, Hessle, Hornsea, Withernsea, Cottingham, Brough, North Ferriby
DN8, DN14 – Goole, Doncaster
YO8, YO15, YO16, YO25, YO41–YO43 – Selby, Bridlington, Driffield, Pocklington, Market Weighton, Stamford Bridge, Holme-on-Spalding-Moor

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for funding under the Skills Bootcamp programme, you must:
- Be aged 19 or over
- Have lived in the UK for at least the last 3 years
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Meet the entry requirements for the specific CISRS course
- Live or work within one of the eligible postcode areas listed above
Courses must be booked and completed by 31st March 2026
Employers based within these postcodes can also apply on behalf of eligible employees to upskill their workforce.
Courses Available Through the Skills Bootcamp
CISRS Part 1 Scaffolder
Following COTS training, this is the first step into a professional scaffolding career. Learn the essential tube and fitting skills, scaffolding components, and safe erection and dismantling procedures.
CISRS Part 2 Scaffolder
Build on your Part 1 knowledge with more complex scaffolds, advanced safe working practices, and improved site coordination skills.
CISRS Advanced Scaffolder
The final stage of CISRS training, focused on advanced rigging, design interpretation, and site leadership.
Training is available at our Nottingham and Humberside centres which are both fully accredited CISRS training facilities, equipped with industry-experienced instructors and realistic, hands-on training environments.
