Our expertise

Scaffold safety is non-negotiable

Our team of highly trained CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspectors covers the whole UK, making sure every scaffold on your site meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Many of our inspectors are former scaffold operatives, so they know how scaffolds are really built, and what goes wrong.

Inspection options

Inspections to suit every project

7-day statutory inspections

Mandatory inspections every 7 days, as UK regulations require, to spot risks early and keep scaffolds safe to use.

Monthly monitoring

Regular monitoring that keeps an eye on condition and addresses issues before they escalate.

One-off inspections

An independent assessment when you have a specific concern or need a second opinion.

Detailed reporting

Reports you can act on straight away

Every inspection produces a written report with:

  • Photographs. Visual evidence of exact conditions and areas of concern
  • Traffic-light scoring. Findings grouped into good and bad practice so priorities are obvious
  • Clear safety statement. Whether the scaffold is safe for use, with actions and timescales

What scaffold inspection services do you offer?

Statutory 7-day inspections under the Work at Height Regulations 2005; post-erection and pre-handover inspections; inspections after bad weather, alteration or damage; independent monitoring for ongoing projects; and specialist inspections for complex scaffolds, towers and access systems.

Who carries out the inspections?

Qualified consultants with real scaffolding experience, including former scaffold operatives holding CISRS advanced inspection cards, NEBOSH qualifications, PASMA instructor credentials and IOSH technical membership.

What is in the inspection report?

Date, time and location; the inspector's name and qualifications; scaffold type and purpose; observations on stability, guardrails, access, ties, bracing and materials; defects found; recommended actions and timescales; and a clear statement on whether the scaffold is safe to use.

Is the service compliant with regulations?

Yes. It follows the Work at Height Regulations 2005, which require scaffolds to be inspected before first use, every 7 days in use, and after any event likely to affect stability.

Why use a third-party inspector?

Independent inspection gives impartial assurance, more credibility with clients and regulators, reduced liability, and inspectors with advanced qualifications and no conflict of interest.

What if defects are found?

The unsafe part should be taken out of use immediately, repaired by qualified people, then re-inspected, with findings and actions recorded.

What is a scaffold handover certificate?

Documentation issued when a scaffold is erected and ready, confirming it has been inspected and is safe to use. It is best practice rather than always a legal requirement.
