This course is suitable for non-scaffolders who erect, alter, move, inspect and dismantle Prefabricated Aluminum mobile access towers. You will develop your understanding of how to safely assemble, dismantle, relocate and alter a mobile access tower without risk of injury to yourself and others. On successful completion, you'll receive your PASMA certificate

You must have a head for heights and a talent for teamwork.
You’ll also have a good understanding of spoken and written English. Please contact us if you have any concerns in this area.
Delegates to bring all relevant site PPE for practical elements. (Hardhat, boots, gloves)
To give attendees up to date knowledge and training on current industry standards
The course covers:
- Legal duties
- Codes of Practice, guidance and information relating to lightweight access towers
- British and European Standards
- Inspection and maintenance of tower components
- Function of components and limitations
- Practical assembly and dismantling exercise
- Stability and tying-in procedures
- Identification of hazards relating to tower scaffolds
- This highly interactive course involves case studies, classroom discussion, and group work and individual/group presentations.
- Assessment is through individual and group exercises and an end-of-course multiple-choice test.
CITB levy grants are available for eligible employers.

- Course bookings will only be accepted upon receipt of a signed Safety & Access Ltd course booking form.
- Course fees must be paid in full prior to course commencing if no account held with Safety & Access Ltd.
- Safety & Access Ltd reserves the right to withhold the issue of training certificates, grant aid applications and NVQ paperwork until such time as the training/assessment is paid for in full
- Once a booking is confirmed, the following conditions will apply in respect of course cancellations. Cancellations are required in writing and will apply from date received. Bank Holidays and Weekends are not included on time limits:
- For cancellations made 21 days or more before the course start date, full refund of course fee
- For cancellations made more than 14 days, but less than 21 days, before the course start date: 50% refund of course fee on cancellation or £50.00 administration fee on transfer to next available course. Transfers will not be accepted less than 5 working days before the course start date.
- For cancellation made less than 14 days before the course start date or non-arrival: Full fee payable
- Safety & Access Ltd reserves the right at its absolute discretion, and without liability, to cancel, alter or re-arrange courses for any reason including a lack of attendees; in which event attendees will be transferred to other courses or monies paid fully refunded
- Safety & Access Ltd reserve the right to remove any attendee(s) from the training course at any time if, in the opinion of Safety & Access Ltd, there is evidence of serious misconduct (including alcohol or drug misuse), or the continued attendance of the attendee would not be in the interests of the attendee or other attendees on that course, whether for reasons of safety or otherwise. Full payment is applicable in this instance
- Construction Skills/CISRS/NVQ information on grant availability is given in good faith, it is the individual company’s responsibility to check eligibility with their local Construction Skills office
- Pre requisite evidence must be supplied within 6 months of the course date. If supplied after the 6 months period an additional charge for the application of the card will be invoiced for.

I recently (Sept 21) attended a 3 day scaffold course here. The centre is well organised with friendly staff and a professional team of instructors who made sure that you have sufficient knowledge to pass the tests.Lunch was provided by "Posh Nosh" and was also very good.The only thing to be aware of is the parking situation. If the centre is busy the car park can fill up quickly meaning that you may have to park some distance away due to DPD taking up most spaces with their fleet of vans so get there early to avoid any hassle.

I recently completed the Basic Scaffold Inspector 3-day course at Safety & Access Ltd. From initial contact to the end of the course, everything was handled smoothly and professionally.I'd recommend the course to anyone who has scaffold structures up on site - it's informative with comprehensive detail about materials, fittings, ties & inspection procedures.
