Dear NASC Member,
Following the last round of NASC Regional meetings you may be aware that NASC/CISRS have an opportunity that will allow employers to claim £100 per day for short duration training via CITB Training grant, they feel that this will be most useful when the 2 day CPD course is introduced in July 2017. They have however also agreed to include CISRS Systems Scaffold Product Training Scheme (SSPTS).
The reason for including SSPTS was that they need industry to sign up and make some claims of this funding in order to prove there is a requirement for it. As the pilot for CPD will only take place in Jan/Feb 2017 with the course going live 1st July 2017 they needed to add a current course to the programme.
In order to trigger this they need a minimum of 20 members to sign up with CITB, it would be helpful in the first instance if your company already operates under the CITB Training Plan and also if you have attended CISRS SPPSTS course this year, but neither of these things are essential.
If you could forward Dave Mosley (CISRS Scheme Manager) the following information by email to enquiries@nasc.org.uk
Employer Name
CITB Registration number
Name of Employer Administrator
Email Address of Administrator
Contact telephone
He will then forward your details to CITB and they will forward you a link in order for you to register.
