Scaffolders Health and Safety Event
This is one of a series of free partnership events run by the industry for the industry, as part of the UK-wide Working Well Together (WWT) campaign.
The aim is not only to raise awareness of key health and safety issues facing the construction industry specific to your trade, but also to give practical advice on how to avoid risks in the scaffolding sector
If you are a scaffold contractor and would like up to date advice on industry standards and safe working practice this FREE morning event is a must.
Professionals from the industry and HSE will cover the general requirements for scaffold designs and discuss case studies where safety issues have arisen.
Work at height remains the single greatest cause of fatal & serious injury in the construction industry. As such, the North & West Yorkshire and South Yorkshire/Humberside Working Well Together Groups & HSE think it is vital to promote such events.
