Kee Gate uses spring-loaded hinges to create a protective barrier at openings, walkways, hatches and other access points. Gates are supplied 1m wide as standard and can easily be cut to size on site.

How do self-closing safety gates work?
A spring-loaded hinge automatically closes the gate behind whoever passes through, so protection doesn't depend on someone remembering to shut it.
What sizes are available?
Single gates fit openings up to 1m and can be cut to size on site. Double gates suit openings over 1m, up to 1.8m.
Can Kee Gate be used outdoors?
Yes. Galvanised steel and safety yellow powder coat both suit outdoor use, and the gate has passed salt spray corrosion testing and over 50,000 cycles.
Are they compliant with UK regulations?
Yes. Kee Gate is CE marked to BS EN 1090, complies with BS EN ISO 14122-3:2016 and supports compliance with the Work at Height Regulations.
Do self-closing gates need maintenance?
Routine inspection of the hinge, spring tension and fixings will catch wear or damage early.
Can a gate be fitted to an existing ladder or structure?
Yes. Universal clamps fit round, square or flat steel, and the gate can also be bolted to a flat surface such as a wall.
